Apprenticeship toolkit

Help apprentices to keep on track

Digital tools can play a valuable role in helping apprentices take ownership of their learning and monitor their own progress.

Example of effective practice

At Goole College a flipped approach helps with progress monitoring as well as skills development. Learners are sent challenges via email and have to complete them on their mobile phones before a face-to-face session. Results are recorded and can be monitored on an individual or aggregate basis for progress monitoring.
